A sterling silver penannular brooch with exquisite Celtic interlacing design. Available with a choice of fastenings: swivel pin, which is the traditional fixing, or with a fixed pin.
The traditional or original method of fastening the plaid was by swivelling the pin, tucking the cloth behind it and swivelling the pain back into place. The modern, fixed pin fastening brooch features a secondary pin at the back of the brooch and the cloth is pinned into place.
