Aquamarine is the colour of shallow water over white sand: a pale, slightly green blue, woven here in herringbone with cream. It's a restful shade for a bedroom, and on a white or grey sofa it adds colour without taking over. Keep it within reach on summer evenings with the windows open.

It's woven in Scotland by The Isle Mill from 100% merino lambswool, in a fine two-tone herringbone: a coloured yarn and a pale one crossing in a tight zigzag. From across the room it reads as a solid colour, and close up you see the texture. The herringbone throw is soft enough for bare arms, and at 140 × 180cm, including 10cm purled fringes, it covers a two-seater sofa or the end of a double bed.
